How to submit a PvP Server Arena Map

Vnlla PvP offers the player the opportunity to create an Arena Map for the server. We want to give ALL of our player base the opportunity to contribute to Vnlla PvP as much as they desire. If your PvP Map is accepted onto PvP Vnlla, you will receive some form of credit for submitting the Map to us. However, to do so, you will have to follow a few steps and adhere to a few rules.

NOTE: Please realize that even though all PvP Map Submissions will be considered, not all will be accepted as Official Maps for the Vnlla PvP Server.

Rules for Map Submission

  1. Do NOT build a PvP Map that you know we will deem as unacceptable from our first look at it.
  2. Do NOT add any Easter Eggs into the PvP Map, as we will just delete them when we look over the entire map.
  3. The Rules are subject to be edited/ added to/ etc. at any time.
  4. This is an early stage for this webpage, and there WILL be more rules added in periodically, so please be sure to check back from time to time if building a PvP Map shortly after 1st April, 2016.

Steps for Map Submission

  1. First, you are going to want to either go into a new Single Player World or open up a Minecraft Server that you have access to the World Folder.
  2. While following the Rules we request you follow in constructing a PvP Map, you can go ahead and build the PvP Map that you would like to build.
  3. Once you have finished building your PvP Map you will want to make sure that you save it from a Single Player World. Although, it should force you to save it before exiting the world.
  4. NOTE: If building the PvP Map on a server, once you have finished building your PvP Map you will want to make sure that you type in the Command /save-all, just to be sure that it saves. You can also type in the Command /stop to also ensure it saves.

  5. Next, you will want to figure out where the boundries of the Regions are on your World. This way, when you go to send us the regions, you will know which Regions to send. Here is a website that can assit you with figuring out the Regions of your World.
  6. NOTE: To use this website you type in the X, Y, & Z Coordinates to ALL 4 corners of where you want to build your PvP Map. Then, for each coordinate you type in, at the bottom of the webpage is Filename:. The numbers you see after Filename: are the Regions your Map is in.

  7. Once your PvP Map is saved you will need to send it to us.
